I am a police veteran of nearly two decades. I have worked as a k9 officer, handler and trainer for over 12 of those years. I learned of Genes Dog Treats just after Christmas 2012.
I got a bag of your dog biscuits to try with my two police dogs. I looked at the ingredients, and was impressed after realizing they were made with all natural human grade ingredients. I am very strict on what I feed my dogs. I opened the bag, and found that they smelled pretty good and that they were still fresh and fairly soft. I made the decision to take a small taste of one. It tasted fantastic! I’m not much of a junk food or sweets type person, but…..it was a great gingerbread cookie, and not overly sweet. They had no sugar listed which is good for dogs, and good for people also I thought to myself. I laughed about it as I drove to work because it tasted so good.
Somehow along the way to my office I ate one, and then another, and 30 minutes later realized that I had eaten about 5 dog biscuits, roughly….. I had eaten half the bag. I got out laughing to myself about this and met with some other officers. I told them to try some new gingerbread cookies I had in my truck. Several other officers ate them, and loved them. Then I told them that they were a new dog biscuit. At first they did not believe me, until I showed them the bag. We are still laughing because we all ate another and finished off the bag.
I did save two and gave them to my dogs. Oh, and by the way they loved them too! You have a fantastic product Gene! They are a great product by a very special guy. I will continue to buy your biscuits and I might still sneak one for myself once in a while...

My little gal is so finicky, and I wasn't sure she would like them... After receiving my order we had her try one imediately. She absolutely loves the 2" puzzle treats. Now she gets so excited when she see em coming...

Wonderful idea...
Our dog has a sensitive stomach, so when I read the treat ingredients included ginger I had to order... She LOVES them and ironically her tummy and demeanor seems so much calmer. Thank you for such a wonderful idea...
